bakaboo, I read with interest your reply to Barry, I have no data myself to post but I remember one review site saying about one of the top of the range Pentax K mount DSLR's, that they were being a bit optimistic with their ISO claims, that's all I remember. Its the real world pictures that interest me, not lab tests. I got me a EM-10 reduced as the Mk 2 is out, love it to bits and what superb colours I get in Jpeg, I much prefer them to Sony colours.

Sense and Sensitivity

Sensitivity (ISO) in digital imaging seems to be the subject of quite a lot of confusion - it's becoming common to hear talk of manufacturers 'cheating with ISO.' So we thought it made sense look at why sensitivity appears hard to pin down, why we use the definition we do and how it's actually not as complicated as it can sometimes seem.

Here are 2 interesting, detailed articles by a serious bird photographer (including BIF). After many years of using Canon he last year switched from his Canon 1DX MK II, Canon EF 600mm f/4L IS II USM, etc. to an Olympus OM-D E-M1 Mark II, Olympus M.Zuiko Digital ED 300mm f/4 IS PRO, etc.
