I will have a look for other themes, maybe just remove ProSilver and replace it with a new installation. I find the black causes less eyestrain during the day but agree the contrast is just that little bit low.

Re: Whats going on with the forum?
I was surprised to see everything in black this morning and immediately switched it back.
Re: Whats going on with the forum?
The black theme looks good on my monitor too. However, the low contrast text at 128 DPI can is a little difficult to read.

I wasn't a fan of the Twilight theme either, though DK's logo looks pretty cool.

Re: Whats going on with the forum?
Awfully sorry but I find this fashionable black background absolutely awful for reading. It reminds me of the desktop computer I had in 1979, which was green or orange on black. Higher quality monitors enabled black on white background, like print, but now we seem to be regressing again. This is great for viewing images but not for reading type. Sorry. Can I revert to the old?
Re: Whats going on with the forum?
DPR's messages are black on white; Dyxum's white on black. I don't have any trouble with either of them. Either is much better than gray on gray.
I can read what I have written here just fine (#c0c0c0) with twilightBB but it's unreadable in subsilver2.
The bright green text you put up in a post in the "red channel" discussion is also very difficult to read in subsilver2.
Editing text color is going to be a problem.

You might not likeit so much at 128 dpi.

Re: Whats going on with the forum?
1680/22 = 76.36...not even close 128.
Edit:
Maybe you meant diagonal instead of wide?
If so, 90 dpi...still a big difference from 128.

Re: Whats going on with the forum?
My pixel density is indeed unusual.
Sony CPD-G520P. I think it's the same or similar to the Artisan without the puck. 16"×12" (20" diagonal) running 2048×1536.
Why so dense? I got in the habit doing CAD stuff...lots and lots of drawing/rendering space. I run lightroom with almost no panel scrolling.
1280×1024 browser window takes only a small part of the screen.
In any case, I don't see why this forum need to be any less readable than DPR or Dyxum.
