i have been a minolta, now sony, user since mid 70s.first min was srt101b,graduated to xe1,which i still have,with a small collection of lenses.got turned on to a/f with 5000.i have been following the discussions in the forum with great interest as i am now trying to get to grips with a700 ,what beautiful camera.

thank you guys for the warm welcome.at the moment i am on the lower slopes of two very steep
learning curves, 1/getting to grips with the finer points of dslr use and 2/how to get the best that i can out of the computer!!
